Costa di Sognu, a private 3-hectare estate, welcomes you in the Balagne with breathtaking views over the authentic village of Costa.
Set against the hillside, with its bell tower like a postcard, the estate is steeped in the scents of the maquis and the unique light of the Balagne.
Terraced over the seasons, the landscaped garden — centuries-old olive trees, palms, citrus and more than 170 plant species — forms an exotic, Mediterranean haven of greenery where you take your time.
Along the paths you move from the shade of a fig tree to a terrace open over the valley, from early morning to sunset over the plain.
At 300 metres above sea level, the estate offers the coolness of summer evenings and a pure mountain spring.
During your stay, we invite you to meet our donkeys Catherine and Bruna, and to enjoy a free tour of the estate and the village of Costa with its Saint-Sauveur church.
A shared lounge extends the walk, with a library of several hundred books and a laundry room at your disposal.
You will be ideally located to explore the Balagne.
The estate
A heated pool, facing the maquis and the sea
At the top of the estate, carved into the rock, our heated pool (10 × 4 m, 1.40 m deep) is shared by all thirteen gîtes and overlooks the valley.
Facing an open panorama over the plain and the sea, surrounded by yuccas and holm oaks, it features a submerged beach ideal for young children (2.50 × 1.50 m, 20 cm of water).
In the morning you enjoy your coffee in the sun, in the afternoon you relax in the shade of the tiled pool house, in the evening you sip a drink under the stars.
Fully secured by a fence with gates, it offers a space of complete relaxation: a large stone terrace, sun loungers, an outdoor lounge, a shower and toilets.
Open from May to September, heated from 1 May to 14 June and in September.
